The Irish Motoring Writers’ Association have already announced the winners of the 2012 Continental Irish Car of the Year award. The results were announced in November 2011 with the Kia Rio coming out on top and becoming the first Korean car to take the coveted title of Irish Car of the Year. Below is a list of the winners in all the categories.
Continental Irish Small Car of the Year: Kia Rio.
Continental Irish Compact Family Car of the Year: Ford Focus.
Continental Irish Family Car of the Year: Peugeot 508.
Continental Irish Executive /Luxury Car of the Year: Range Rover Evoque.
Continental Irish Performance Car of the Year: Mercedes-Benz SLK.
Continental Irish Van of the Year: Volkswagen Crafter
